She was the colour of snow, her eyes paler than the sky during leafbare. But a bloody history was behind this cat. As a kit she had murdered another kit in the nursery while every one was sleeping. The blood had tasted wonderful and warm, but she was careful to erase all traces of the blood from her snow white pelt. Now the cat padded silently through the camp, hissing at all who looked at her. Snowstorm was a vain cat who thought that none deserved to look at her pure pelt and sleek body. Shallow though she was, Snowstorm was an accomplished killer, having started as a kit. There was only a pawful who were better killers, one of whom was Cadell. But Snowstorm didn't mind much. She was a female and would defend her kits to the death, should she have any. As the she-cat walked, another cat bumped into her and she whirled to claw his nose. A spot of blood welled where her razor-sharp claws struck and a smirk of sastisfaction appeared on her white face. "Watch it, vermin," she snarled and padded away, her hips swinging ever so slightly.

A silky voice chuckled as golden eyes watched the so called 'queen'. Tis to early in the morning for bloodshed, tis it not Snowstorm? a slender she-cat said as she padded forward a smile on her snow white face. She stopped a ways away from Snowstorm, one paw in front of her body, her head tipped to the opposite of her paw. Her tail played out behind her as her golden eyes narrowed. As the light hit her pelt, it looked as if she was a see through spirit, that was breathing living air.
Twas no need to scratch that cat, for just bumping into thee, Snowstorm. Thou are not the only one in the running to become queen. the she-cat said. Her voice was teasing, but in the bad way. This she-cat was not outside of knowing whose destiny was whose and whose life intertwined with prophecy. She despised BloodClan for what they did in the past, so rather than listen to them, she listened to the whisper of the stars. From that she learned of Cadell and Icerose's destiny, and the chosen few who knew not of what was to come. She also knew the name of the one that could teach her what she hungered to know of. Wiseheart. Not only did she know this, she also knew IceClan would eventually dissapear and become SnowClan. How Cadell was going to take out this army, she did not know. But she believed in fate and destiny and that was all there was to it.
Careful Snowstorm. Thy fate shall not be changed unless thee changes thee's self. The ice will become gentle like snow, and thee will either be taken with it, or survive to become one with the new order. she said quietly, to quiet for Snowstorm to really hear. Then a little louder she said, I can either help thee or destroy thee. That is the reason my name consists of spirit and breath. I will destroy thee like a spirit taking revenge, or I will breath life into thee. Tis thy choice. But know this, thy destiny is already set. Thy shall be taken away with the ice, to never be seen again. While I help the true queen, who will replace thee in everyway. Thy is only queen when she has won the king's heart. the she-cat paused for a moment then said, Spirit or breath. Tis thy choice, though it will help thee none at all. Now thee better remember my name and remember it well.
The she-cat had no doubt Snowstorm knew her, though the overconfident cat has forgotten her on many a occasion, so she needed a reminder. This was her reminder as well as her warning.

"Well I'll be thrown over a cliff," Snowstorm hissed, "Spiritbreath, you thorn in the side, what are you doing out this early?" The she-cat chuckled darkly and padded over to her white companion and grinned maliciously in her face. "I'm no queen, kits are beyond my cares," the she-cat giggled, "But it helps to be superior to the lowly cats of dark-fur." Turning on the other cat, Snowstorm padded off in a slight huff, her tail flicking Spiritbreath in the face. Damn that ruddy cat sticking her nose where it doesn't belong, the cat hissed inwardly, her insides churning with hatred.

Spiritbreath smiled as Snowstorm padded away. But when the she-cat's tail flicked her across her face, she caught it and brought it down to the earth. Spiritbreath dug her claws in around the white tipped tail, as some of her claws dug into Snowstorm's flesh. I believe it is wise to respect your elders young kit. Especially when they know posions that could unknowingly slip into thy food....
Spiritbreath chuckled herself, her laugh sounded like a ringing of bells in the air. bells that could be harmonious, or screeching. I believe thy has misunderstood my meaning. I did mean those who care for their young. I meant the one who is the top of the Clan, and thy so clearly thinks thee is there. But oh how wrong thee are.
Spiritbreath let go of Snowstorm's tail. Did thee not hear me speak of a king? The king who rules a Clan. I will tell thou one last time. To truly become the queen of a Clan thy must capture the king's heart. Unfotunatly for thee, the king's heart has already been captured by someone else. Someone who has much much more to live for than you do. Do not forget young one, the adults may have been sleeping while that kit died the long ago moonlit night, but I twas not. So do not try to threaten me, I know very well what thee is capable of.
Spiritbreath's tail conitued its slow hypnotic movement as her golden eyes continued to watch the other. She knew that if she could find this Wiseheart and befriend Icerose, she would be free, finally free of this dreadful Clan.

"Top of the clan or not," Snowstorm hissed through the vague pain in her tail, "It does not interest me. Winning "the king's" heart is also out of the question." The white cat turned back to Spiritbreath and growled again. "I'll thank you if you let go of my tail," she said with a forced smile, "Why do you talk like something out of a story anyways? Don't you realize that's a bit outdated?" The she-cat's pale blue eyes sparkled with dim curiosity as she sat and waited for the elder cat to relinquish her tail.

Mm... Are you totally sure what is in thine heart? Because thou act as if you have already won the battle, though it is clear thou still doest not understand what I am trying to say... Spiritbreath replied.
Her ears flickered at Snowstorm's question, though she had totally ignored the she-cat's request to let go of her tail. She didn't really feel like it t the moment. Why do I talk like this? Because it fits mine interests. I have enjoyed speaking like this since I was just a kit. Why should I not? It is a part of who I am.
Finally Spiritbreath let go of Snowstorm's tail. The golden eyed she-cat sat down, her tail still high in the air continuing to wave back and forth, the mystifying smile still on her face.

"If it suits thine interests," Snowstorm chuckled at her imitation of Spiritbreath, "Then I shall leave you to it, for it is truly vexing to the rest of us." The younger of the two pure white cats stood and shook out her long pelt. "After such a time that I see fit," she continued in a slight mocking tone, "I shall return to seek thy counsel, fair Spiritbreath. As it amuses me so, the sport of it shall keep my mind fit." A quick spurt of childishness overcame the young she-cat and she flicked her tail in Spiritbreath's face again before dashing away to a safe distance. "I may not know what you mean," Snowstorm chuckled, "But it doesn't become you to speak in such riddles."

Spiritbreath chuckled, unfazed by Snowstorm's antics. If it doest not become me, then certaintly acting like the queen thou are not, does not become you, young Snowstorm.
She had switched to the normal speaking ways for just a moment to empasize her meaning. Thou really should be much more careful about who thy angers. One day thou may anger the wrong cat, and thou's existance shall cease.
Spiritbreath smiled, and this time she walked away. her tail flicked behind her as if to dismiss Snowstorm and to say she was done speaking to the she-cat. It got tiresome to say the same thing over and over again when one would not listen. Well now she could leave camp and sleep. She knew she would dream of the cats with stars in their pelts. She truly wished to learn more about them, their ways, and their healing ways, not just the posions. She slipped out of camp and headed off towards an empty clearing to lay down and supposedly rest.
