CADELL tiime iis so short and ii’m sure there must be somethiing more those who are dead are not dead they’re just liiviing iin my head
As he listened, Cadell smiled. Not a half smile, not a fake smile. A full, genuine smile that reached up to dance in his eyes. If he hadn't been so distracted, he probably would have chuckled over what Icerose would do or say if she caught him smiling like he was.
You know, you remind me of someone I knew.
His mind flickered back to how he talked to Starclan, talked to dead cats, and he began to question what he had said, though more to himself. His ears slanted back as he thought about it before actually saying anything to himself aloud.
Knew? Know? Which is it, since I haven't seen her yet, but could potentially?

Moonstar shot the tom a quizzical look, as though his talking to hmself was something that was extremely out of place in this world. "What are saying, Cadell?" she asked, "What are you wondering about that has made you say such a thing?" Her mistmatched eyes sparkled with the intensity of her curiousity. The white she-act was curious as to why he spoke about the frozen rose this way, but she held in all of her questions. It would embarrass the both of them if she continued her line of questioning. "I apologize, Starwalker," Moonstar murmured, dipping her head slightly, "My curiousity has once again gotten the better of me."

He turned his focus once more to the white leader, and it took him a moment to realize she was thinking of someone entirely different. He was quick to correct her.
Oh, I mean my mother. She used to be a clan cat, but she left to be with my father. She died, moons ago.
His verbal questionings, that had really come a bit out of the blue, would probably make much more sense now that Moonstar had a bit of background about it. Meanwhile, in wait of a reply, Cadell found himself hoping that his mother had been allowed among the ranks of Starclan. She had left her clan for the greater good, after all. Her love of a rogue had left her too distracted to be helpful to her clan. She wouldn't have left for any other reason.
