Deadstar paced silently within his make-shift den. What was this place they were in, it couldn't even be considered their own clan territory. They would need their own, and soon, he was tired of being here, and wanted his own hunting land.
His thoughts darted back and forth, bouncing around his mind. Clan lands.. he would think about one moment, the next Cadell..Icerose..is it the right choice? Of course he was accustomed to difficult decisions, him being leader. He was extremely unsure if this really was the correct decision though. It seemed like every moment he thought about it, it screamed at him to change his mind. As if something dangerous would take place soon.
It could even be felt in the air, in the 'camp' they all shared. Something was forming within his clan, and he had no way to find out what it was. His clan was a place for cats who belonged to no other clan. Cats who would not fit into different clans.
His impatience was getting to him and he snarled to no one in particular, speaking aloud. "Where ARE Cadell and Icerose?"

CADELL but ii'm on the outsiide and ii'm lookiing iin ii can see through you see your true colors
Cadell growled softly as he entered the camp. It had taken him much too long to find the white-furred beauty he'd been searching for, and certainly Deadstar would be impatient and annoyed by now. As for Icerose, she was behind him, or she had been when he had checked a few minutes ago. He'd set a fast pace, though, so he almost expected her to be left behind a bit. He paused, just inside the boundaries of their camp area, and glanced back to her.
Come on! You're slow.
He was in a good mood, yes, but that didn't mean he was exceptionally nice. Being mean to her like that...It was how he kept his mind away from other thoughts about her. Of course, the worry that Deadstar might have thought harder and changed his mind while they were on the way back wasn't helping his attitude any, either.

The slender white she-cat let out a hiss of annoyance as Cadell spoke to her in a slightly harsh tone. First he told she had to go see the leader she absolutely despided, second he set a very fast pace for her and now third he was snapping at her. She had a temper too you know! I am not! she hissed through clenched teeth.
She may like Cadell a little... alright alot, but that doesn't mean the white assasion couldn't get on her nerves sometimes. Icerose bounded ahead of Cadell when he stopped, letting her saphire eyes show her slight annoyance with him and then she continued on to Deadstar's den. When she reached the entrance she debted whether she would risk calling into the den with her cold icy voice that she always got around him and suffer his wrath for being late and disrespectful... Nah she'd let Cadell do it. So acting very much like a kit, she sat down and flicked her tail at Cadell, a small smirk on her face.

Scents of cats drifted into the leader's 'den', but he knew long before that there were cats approaching. The scents told him it was Icerose and Cadell, the two of which he had been waiting to see. Impatiently, he called to them, a harsh, malicious note in his voice. "Cadell! Icerose!"
Impatience, frustration, and nerves all combined to make the snow-white tom furious. How sure was he that this was the right choice? He wasn't. A leader must have no doubts. He needed to think about this. There is no time. Of course there wasn't time, the two were standing right outside his den. Feign your assurance. Let them not see how you are beneath the façade you show them. That was right. He could not let them see the conflicting emotions he felt. It was time to act like the leader he was to become. Time to put an end to all cats that despised him and defied him.
Standing proudly at the head of his den, he stared at the entrance, his tail calmly wrapped around his paws and his fur laying flat. Now was the time to prove why he was leader.

Cadell didn't wait at the front of the den, didn't even call out. Deadstar was expected them, had been doing so for awhile. So, the white tom simply walked in. Had it been one of those days after a successful assassination, he would have gone so far as to waltz in. Today was not one of those day, and he took no chances.
Excuse the lateness, Deadstar. She's quite good at making herself difficult to find.
It was, actually, a compliment for Icerose, though she probably wouldn't take it that way. An assassin had to be good at blending in, that was for sure, but he also had to be good at not being seen or smelled, for spying purposes. After all, sometimes it was best to just catch a cat off guard, rather than earn their trust first. It depended entirely on if one wanted secrets from them before they died.
