CADELL all the tiimes that ii've criied all thiis wasted, it's all iinsiide and ii feel all thiis paiin, stuffed iit down, iit's back agaiin
The white assassin padded through the throng of cats, which gladly parted to let him through to the pile of prey. He carefully nosed through it when he reached it and, despite a few yowls of annoyance, he took the plumpest rabbit and padded back through the aisle that had formed for him. Sitting on the outside, looking into the lives of the others, he ate it with even thinking about it.
They don't understand a thing. Love, friendship? Heh. Yeah, right. It's a lie, all of it. Just wait 'til they figure that out. Then they'll really be cats of Iceclan. His thoughts, however weren't finished in his head, as he stared blankly at them.
After all, that's exactly what we are. Outcasts and sinners alike.

The snow white temptress padded past the throng of cats around the prey pile. She won't eat what trash like them have touched! So whenever she was out patroling she had a good meal, one reason she was still healthy but not plump and round. After all she still obeyed the warrior code taught to her by her mother, unlike some cats. Her icy blue eyes held disgust for the other cats and a frown rested on her maw. That is until she saw Cadell. Her frown turned to a gentle smile and her eyes sparkled, as a spring in her step appeared, and for a moment it seemed as though there to be two she-cats, one was really Frozenwinter, walking beside her daught to keep her on the right path, with StarClan. Cadell! she purred, as she came to stand next to him.

He growled as soon as she spoke, but it caught in his throat as the piece of prey he'd been in the middle of swallowing threatened to not go down. He swallowed again to avoid coughing it up and getting it dirty and he got lucky. It went down. His green eyes darted over to glare straight into her blue ones.
What in Bloodclan's name do you want?
His eyes didn't waver even once as he stared at her. He didn't care who she was, how she felt, or about anything concerning her. She was just a clanmate, someone who would fight alongside him in battle. He expected nothing more, but wouldn't be surprised by any in this clan if he got less. His tongue flicked out to lick the blood off his maw and ended up drawing in a small piece of rabbit fluff as well, but ignored it. His eyes still bored into hers, and they weren't about to look away until he got an answer.

She frowned a bit as Cadell growled. She could hear it even if he didn't finish it. Her bushy tail moved across the ground in annoyance to his reaction.
I just wanted to talk! Is that really so bad! she said. Her blue eyes stared right back into his green without flinching. She didn't care that he had that little evil glint. She was confident enough that she was strong enough to take him on. Even a frozen rose covered in ice still has the strength to stand.
Why can't Clanmates talk, mm? You know there is more to a Clan than that. Though you probably wouldn't know, and I'll probably never experance the true warmth of a Clan again because of this one! she growled the last part, pulling back her lips to show her fangs as her eyes narrowe din frustration. Her claws came out and she dug them into the ground, as her whole body started shaking. The mermory of her mothers maimed body appeared in her mind, but a gentle voice brushed it away.
Peace my little rose...

Certainly Clanmates can talk, but who said I wanted to?
His reply was cold, but he finally looked away. Not defeated, but tired of staring upon a single cat. He took another bite of his meal. It was starting to get cold, but he didn't mind. Much like his father, his tail tip twitched erratically, but only for a moment before a kit pounced on it. It was small and young, so he flipped it away with his tail as well. The queen responsible called it back before it could get another hold on Cadell's white fur, which was a good thing. He didn't have the temperament to deal with kits, especially ones that used him like a toy.
And there's no point taking your anger out of them. All they understand are their goals, and if your mother hadn't stood up to them, she would still be alive.
Her background hit home with him, though, even if she didn't know it and probably never would. They had come to his mother, tried to get her to join them. But she had refused to leave his damn father. So, while he was out beginning to learn simple hunting techniques, she had been tortured and killed. But he still joined them willingly, if only because it angered and hurt his father. The father who should have protected her, or at least not left his son in the dust as he had.

Icerose had almost calmed herself when Cadell spoke, but that changed in a second. Her fur briseled at what he said and though she kept her voice even, the rage was evident behind her tone.
Don't you dare say anything against my mother! She refused for a reason! Icerose growled. She liked Cadell she really did, but she wouldn't tolerate anything said against ehr mother, even if it came from him.
She was brave and stronger than any of these cats who caved into IceClan, and their ancestors BloodClan! Before I was taken away by this Clan, I heard a story from Hazelleaf, SeaClan's medicine cat, and it was all about the story of Firestar and how he rerstored SkyClan, and in doing so making it so SeaClan, StormClan, and even ShadeClan, could be formed. She also told of how Firestar had brought all the orignal Clans together to fight and destroy BloodClan! Now though it looks like its our turn... Icerose had slowly calmed down, but she still held her rage, though it burned underneath all her other emotions, so now she was really living up to her name. Her voice held the ice and the thorns that would freeze and prick at a cat who got to close.
Even though I am forced to live here, I will always follow StarClan... she said icely.

At least you have something to believe in.
He growled softly, getting up to pad away. He paused for a moment, remembering about the prey he had left there, then brushing it off his mind.
Eat the rest if you want. I'm done with it.
He picked up a faster pace and left the camp. There was too many cats around him. It overwhelmed him too much and he needed to get away. Before he knew it he was running as fast as he could, from his past, from his thoughts, and from everything. He slowed to a stop near the Starpeak and looked up at it, panting. The leader kept saying no one else could contact Bloodclan, only Iceclan's leader.
I'll show them. I'll show them all I'm not just some young cat who's good at what he does.

Icerose stared after Cadell for a long moment and only came back to herself when she heard someone stealing the rest of the prey. She turned around in a flash and hissed at the cat, who hissed back and almost, almost got the rabbit, but Icerose didn't have sharp claws for nothing. She got him straigght on the nose. Then as the cat howled in pain she picke dup the rabbit and took it to the kits and queens, though they stared at her warely. She dropped the rabbit in front of the nursery and then ran after Cadell. She had an inkling of where he was going, as her paws hit the hard forest floor.. Soon the forest began to clear and she saw the abandoned church ahead, the so called 'Starspeak'. It angered Icerose to even think that name and she growled to show her dissaproval, but increased her speed, maybe just maybe instead she could get Cadell to talk to StarClan instead.....
Her mother urging her on in the back of her head, Icerose made a skinding turn and ran inside the church calling Cadell's name. Cadell!
She saw him a few meters ahead of her, and slowed down as she came near him. Her breathing was hard but she managed to control it quickly. Cadell... she whispered as she came to stand next to him.

He had leaned back on his haunches to leap up onto the altar when she came in. His ears didn't flattened back as they normally would have. He was too captivated by what he was about to try to do.
What?
The single word came out with a breath, as his green eyes widened looking up to the alter. There was something about that, to him, made him think more of the night sky, not of blood. His eyes narrowed again when something reached his ears.
This is not the path for you... Leap up and we will show you... Come, Cadell, embrace your path...

ICerose's ears twitched as she too heard the whispering words. She knew what they meant even as two cats, with stars shining in the pelts, appeared on the alter. One cat was an exact lookalike to Icerose, though you could tell she was the gentler of the two, with her smile on her face, and her blue eyes holding kindness for Cadell and love for Icerose. The other was a siameese mix. The upper half of her body was tan colered, while her maw and ears were dark brown. Her front paws were brown as well, and so was the other half of her body. Her eyes were an icy blue unlike Icerose's saphire.
StarClan... Icerose breathed. Then tears whelled up in her eyes as she recognized her mother. Mama! Icerose jumped onto the altar without hesitantion. Frozenwinter licked her ears loveingly.
Oh my sweet, sweet kit. You've done so very well. But you must stay with IceClan a while longer. she whisered and Icerose nodded, sniffing back her tears. The white she-cat looked to the other and nodded. Then the cat with icy blue eyes looked to Cadell.
My name is Bluejay. I am the previous SeaClan medicine cat. Cadell, your destiny does not ly among cats like IceClan, but on a differant path. Come with us and we will show it to you.. Bluejay said, thne she turned aorund and began to walk away, though only back towards a throng of cats, all with stars in their pelts. Icerose looked around and realized they were in a grassy clearing, Silverpelt shining high above them. A smile slowly crept up onto her face and she turned to Cadell happely.
Cadell! Come here! she said.

Something drew him up and before he even knew what he was doing, he was with them, but not asleep. Few would have this strong a connection, especially with no clan linkage. He felt his paws lifting up and he found himself spirited to the clearing, his body still on the alter, but his spirit out of it, following the cats of the stars.
Where...where is this? What's going on?
He flinched away from one of the cats as they brushed past, making his fur tingle with a static feeling. The stars stuck.
There is a touch of death about you, young one.
A black cat with some white on his chest and muzzle stepped forward, his paw clearly crushed but he had no limp and no pain. It was Battlecry, a Shadeclan medicine cat.
You speak with us, yet you do not sleep to do so. You are a strange one, indeed.
His eyes flashed in anger and he growled before Battlecry batted at his head, as he would have done to Tearpaw, his apprentice when he was alive. Cadell's paw flashed up to meet with the black cat's when he went to hit him again.
Keep your paws off me!
A drop of silver blood came out of Battlecry's pad, as one of Cadell's claws sliced it. It shouldn't have been able to, and that made Battlecry pull back, nervous and scared.

Cadell! Icerose scolded as she padded over to be next to him. Bluejay chuckled as she studied the wintery cat.
Ineed you are a strange one. You have a strong connection with StarClan, yet you have not come from a Clan, nor know of our code. Many a medcine cat would envy you, myself included, if I was still alive. the old she-cat said. A ringing athorative voice rang out behind Bluejay as a silver she-cat stepped forward.
Come Battlecry do not fear him. If we keep our paws off him he will not harm us. she quoted, smiling. I am Silverstar, one of the previous leaders of StormClan. Now Brightstar rules my Clan once again. She stopped and sat down curling her slender tail around her paws.
Cadell, you destiny is... Bluejay began to say but then was interuppted by another voice. Aw, come now Bluejay. Really not inviting us to something like this? Brightstar said as she appeared, a grin on her face. Though she was calmer thna her younger self she still acted pretty much the same, though with a more controlled temper.
Why not me and Falconstar explain it? Right Falconstar? she said over her shoulder.

The brown tabby padded forward with a purr.
Indeed. I really would like to know what's going on before you do something like this. I mean, honestly. I may have another job up here now, but still.
She looked over at the white tom with kind, but serious eyes.
You are not just any Iceclan cat, are you not? An...assassin if I'm not mistaken. Your jobs will help with this. They make you disappear from Iceclan for a couple days, after all.
What are you saying? You make no sense!
He was getting desperate to get away, but something in him held him here. He didn't want to leave, but he didn't want to stay either.
Cadell. Cadell, your drifting! Focus!
It was Battlecry again, trying to make him remember where he was. Without focus, the white time would fade away and his spirit would head back to his body, where they couldn't reach him very often.

Icerose pressed her fur against Cadell's. he won't like it, but it will give him something to focus on, and plus she liked it. Brightstar spoke again, Cadell, you belong in IceClan, yet you don't. You belong in a differant version of IceClan, which you will create. You will find the few in IceClan who are capable of becoming normal Clan cats, and you will create SnowClan.
Silverstar nodded. You came to the alter find your destiny. Well now you have. Accept StarClan and we will always be here to guide you. We will help you find the chosen cats and create SnowClan, but you must speak to the other Clans first.
The safest Clans to go to right now would be SkyClan and StormClan, since I and Falconstar are here right now. Brightstar said, then decided to mention, Did you knwo there was a prophecy made about you?

This is where he stopped it, he refused to hear anymore. It freaked him out, and when he got scared like this he ran. With a jolt he was back in his body, gasping for breath. He realized his legs had collapsed, as if he had died suddenly. His eyes, wide, were staring at Icerose's sleeping body.
His eyes closed as his breathing began to be more controlled, though his sides still heaved to bring in enough air. It made his ribs ache, but his body hurt more. Visiting Starclan like that was not supposed to happen, and it came with its consequences.
